The Kingdom of Cambodia is a country in Southeast Asia in the south of the Indochina Peninsula. In 1975, the Khmer Rouge, led by Pol Pot, came to power in the country. They imposed a socialist course, which in fact turned into a genocide of their own people (peasants, artisans, intellectuals, monks). In a few years, about 3 million inhabitants of the country were destroyed. Some time ago, the Polpot regime was overthrown.
